  1. i always like your work better where you put arrows in it, the beast reminds me of old manuscript paintings. It also presents alot of questions like where are they going and who's out to get them.
It would be cool if you wrote some about the process of your work
on the blog. but what do i know i don't even have a blog.

  2. I've been thinking a lot lately about human kind’s relationship with the natural world, and one of the things I keep coming back to is this disconnect we all have with nature. That somehow the human animal's whole existence is rapped up with being other than nature, to the point where most of us view the earth as nothing more than a host of limitless plenitude. This series of four drawings and a few others that are part of it are my attempts at asking this question, or maybe pointing at this problem of human parasitism. The arrows represent "THEY" the controlling hand of our consciousness, or the passing of blame onto another instead of taking responsibility for our own actions. I think ultimately the narrative I'm trying to evoke with these pieces is a self-reflexive question of our eventual demise by our own hand.
